Hi, I’m Jaclyn.

I’m a Chinese-Canadian writer for video games and novels (with a love for screenwriting too!). After working in healthcare and medical writing for six years, I decided to pursue my passion for creative writing in video games. It wasn’t much of a stretch after spending more than a decade writing fan fiction.

I studied screenwriting at Vancouver Film School in 2019 before starting my career as a writer in the games industry in 2020. Since then, I’ve accumulated experience in writing for mobile and AAA games. Currently, I write for Respawn’s Apex Legends.

  • Winner of NaNoWriMo (2018)
